About the Speakers
Marc Oetzel
Privacy Counsel, Questback
Marc Oetzel is a seasoned information technology attorney contributing more than 15 years of corporate and legal expertise focused on information technology (IT), data protection, intellectual property, and software technology. A certified Data Protection Officer with extensive legal consultancy experience, Marc currently serves as Questback’s Privacy Counsel lending his extensive acumen in key areas including data protection and the GDPR, among others. In addition to his legal responsibilities, Marc serves as a thought-leader in the IT, data and technology sphere where he is often a speaker, lecturer, advisor and writer.
Prior to Questback, Marc practiced data protection, contract, IT, intellectual property and employment law, working with various international clients handling multinational projects. He is also multilingual, speaking both German and English fluently. Marc received his LL.M. from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, where he also served as a visiting lecturer on contract and IP law.
Mattias Frye
Regional Manager – Central Europe, Questback
Matthias Frye is an accomplished executive leader responsible with more than 20 years of sales and management experience in international software and technology companies. As the Regional Manager of Central Europe, Matthias leads all Questback’s Central European operations including Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Joining Questback in 2014, he previously served as the Regional Sales Director for Central Europe, heading the sales department for two years in the region.
