Company News | Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust Enhances Staff Engagement With Questback
Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust, which provides a wide range of hospital, outpatient, home-facing and specialist services across Devon, will use Questback to enhance its staff engagement and gain a unified view of feedback across the organization.
London, England – March 2, 2016 – Questback has announced today that the Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust is deploying its Enterprise Feedback Suite (EFS) technology platform. The Trust, which provides a wide range of hospital, outpatient, home-facing and specialist services across Devon, will use Questback to enhance its staff engagement and gain a unified view of feedback across the organization. As a first step it will launch a Trust-wide online community open to all staff, allowing them to share feedback, learn from each other and interact with their peers.
The Trust already has a reputation for strong employee engagement, ranking fourth best in England for staff satisfaction in the 2014 NHS Staff Survey and being named in the Health Service Journal’s list of Best Places to Work in the NHS in 2015. However, it is continually looking to improve and enhance how it listens to its staff, who work at 27 different sites and act on their feedback.
By investing in a technology platform that can underpin all feedback activities, it will be able to bring together information from multiple surveys, launch new feedback initiatives, make it easier and faster to analyze data and consequently use insight from staff to drive change. This will improve engagement with staff, aid recruitment and retention and have a positive impact on patient care, helping the Trust becoming the employer of choice for flexible bank staff.
Using Questback will also support many of the Trust’s existing initiatives, making this important program scalable, sustainable and also increasing the pace of delivery. The Questback solution will provide the Trust with real time data visualization on sentiment analysis, heat maps and reports that can provide visibility from the board to ward, empowering change at all levels.
“As a Trust we are very proud of our current high levels of staff engagement, but always aim to improve through new ways of listening to employees,” said Darryn Allcorn, director of workforce and development at the Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust. “Questback provides us with a unique technology platform that enables us to build on our strong foundations, unify feedback and make listening to staff even easier across the Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust.”
