June 27th QuestBack launches new functionality for improved user interface and work flow.

Improved user interface & work flow

Based on ongoing feedback from our users, and feedback from the User panel, QuestBack works continuously to improve and to add value to the users' experience of the service.

Over the last year, the QuestBack service has been through some major database improvements and the service is modernized and the information architecture is improved. The development team is increasing and now includes 21 developers. For customers this means an increased speed in developing new functionality in the future. There are exciting things to look forward to over the next few years!

From June 27th you can enjoy:

When will this be released?

The new functionality will be released in the time period: 7am-6.30pm (GMT+2) June 27th. The service will be unavailable for both users and respondents during the same time period.

From June 27th you can enjoy:

New Design
The new design in the QuestBack service is in line with the QuestBack design profile
In general, the service has been updated with lighter colours and fewer menus. For frequently used buttons, clear contrast colours have been chosen. Like e.g. for New Quest. The new design will make it easier and more user-friendly to navigate the service. E.g. the Quest-page consists of much more information than earlier, but with more user-friendly structure and navigation. New design will be launched step by step throughout the service in 2010/early 2011

 
Improved User Interface
An improved User Interface will make QuestBack even more efficient, user-friendly and fun to work with.

  • All information in your account will be better structured and thereby more easy available.
  • The improved user interface will offer you access to more information with fewer clicks.
  • Shortcuts to the most frequently used functions are now collected in one window to make them more accessible. The shortcuts depend on your user type, and are more tailored to your work area.
  • Use of navigation paths will show you where you are in the folder and Quests structure.
  • New and more intuitive folder structure that you will recognize from other often used systems.
  • New and improved access to information by using tabs for navigation.
  • Buttons for recommended actions will appear while navigating the service.
  • Support for copying Quests directly without having to use a template.

 

New Activity Overview
New module with Activity Overview makes it easier to keep track of all running activities in your account. Activity Overview will also make it easier to share information with other users within the account. The overview shows all Quests, activities and responses that you own in the account.

  • Gives you complete overview of the account on one, single page
  • Makes it easier to share information with other users in the account
  • Gives a better overview of activities in the account
  • More accessible functionality for follow-up of respondents.

Improved Quest Manager
The Quest Manager is improved and more user-friendly in order to help your everyday work with QuestBack run even more efficiently!

  • Easier and more intuitive to navigate with tabs
  • Improved structure (both folders and Quests)
  • Easier to copy a Quest
  • Functionality for selecting your own default folder
  • More templates in the service
  • Improved Search function that will make the information in your account more accessible. The Search function will now appear in the upper right corner while working with Quests. 
  • Improved and easier administration of existing and new users. This will help Super users to save time in administering the users within your account.
  • Possibility to edit your own templates (private templates are now converted to Quests)

 

A faster service
QuestBack has invested in state-of-the-art hardware and upgraded to the latest database provided by the worlds #1 database provider, Oracle.
This means that you will experience:

  • A faster service in general  
  • Improved response time in QuestReporter, QuestDesigner and QuestManager 
  • Better reliability
  • Faster web services 
  • Faster respondent data import 
  • Faster generation of reports
  • Launch of new functionality with higher frequency

3rd party general security test in order to make sure the QuestBack service fulfills the high security requirements. QuestBack run frequently security tests.
